Semnan Flour and Bran Company

Semnan Flour and Bran Production Company, with over 40 years of experience in Iran’s flour industry, was established on a 20,000-square-meter site with a monthly production capacity of 4,500 tons. By implementing Russian, Polish, and Iranian production lines, it has become one of the most experienced and reputable flour producers in Iran. Since 2015, with new management and equipment modernization, the company has taken significant steps toward improving product quality and customer orientation. The involvement of Bank Sarmayeh, its affiliated economic groups, and the private sector has provided a robust platform for facilitating investments and conducting commercial transactions with flour customers and consumers, leading to enhanced customer satisfaction.

Facilities and Quality Control

One of the primary concerns of flour industry consumers is ensuring the consistent quality of raw materials, which directly impacts waste reduction. To address this, Semnan Flour and Bran Company has established a semi-mechanized wheat storage facility with a capacity of 30,000 tons. By enhancing wheat storage capabilities, the company ensures the segregation of wheat upon arrival at the factory, enabling the production of flour free from seasonal and quality fluctuations, delivering consistent quality to customers. The factory, supported by an advanced laboratory, tests incoming wheat before use and finished products before dispatch, adhering to current standards. Only after ensuring complete compliance with health and quality standards is the unloading of wheat or shipment of products authorized. In case of any issues, the company provides practical and synergistic solutions to enhance product quality.

Facilities and Quality Control

The factory’s quality control unit, equipped with a state-of-the-art laboratory and precise instruments, evaluates all raw materials and final products based on international standards:

  • Moisture testing using an oven device

  • Ash testing using an electric furnace

  • Protein testing

  • Microbial testing using an incubator and autoclave

  • pH testing using a pH meter

  • Wet gluten testing

  • Flour particle size testing using a rotary sieve shaker
